Before I discovered Urban Decay’s Chill Makeup Setting Spray, Mac’s Fix Plus was my old standby for setting my makeup.
Fix Plus is extremely hydrating and I love the smell, but it is better at giving your makeup a dewy finish than helping it last longer. Fix Plus creates a natural glow on the skin, but if you are at all oily, then it can just make you look shiny. I often have to reapply a powder or use an oil-blotting sheet after spraying this mist to avoid looking oily.
My favorite use of this product however is not as a setting spray. Fix Plus is wonderful as an eye shadow tool. When applying loose powder eye shadows or pigments, spray your brush first with Fix Plus, then load on the product. This gives your eye shadow a glossy sheen and helps the pigment stay put on your lid for longer.
