Diorskin Nude BB Creme

IMG_0632

I never got along with any of the other BB creams I tried. This one is the only one that I really think is different and useful. Most BB creams are really just tinted moisturizers that deliver sheer coverage at best. Frankly, they tend to leave an orange cast on my skin and do more harm than good. Especially those ones that claim to, “adjust to your exact skin tone.” Yeah, right.

The price for this Diorskin Nude BB Creme is steep and I wasn’t expecting it to be worth the splurge. But, several sample pots full from Nordstrom later, and I was hooked.

The Diorskin Nude BB Creme is a dream base. I find that the shade 001 is light enough for me and blends into my skin flawlessly when I use my fingers. One slightly larger than pea-sized dollop covers my entire face. The packaging looks small, but there is quite a bit of product in there and you definitely get your money’s worth.

Coverage is very important to me since I tend to always have a spot and uneven skin tone that I want to correct. If I’m going to bother putting makeup on my face it might as well be worth my while. And this BB cream actually covers imperfections while still looking like skin and not a typical liquid foundation.

On lazy days when using a liquid foundation that requires a brush and lots of blending sounds too difficult, I always reach for this.  I will layer concealer and a powder foundation over it for more coverage if I am going for a full-face makeup look.

BB Creams are supposed to operate beyond being makeup and give you skincare benefits, which I find to be false claims more often than not. It might be all in my head, but the day after I use the Diorskin Nude BB Cream as my base I always feel like my skin looks better. Again, might be due to other factors, but if my skin looks good I’m not going to question it.

You don’t necessarily need a BB cream in your life if you already have an everyday foundation that works for you, but if you are in the market for something easy and flawless that you can apply with your fingers and still get some coverage out of, try a sample of this.
